Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for an affordable 39-unit community in Washington, DC. You will support the Property Manager in daily operations, ensuring compliant and well-maintained properties and assisting with leasing, reports, and resident services.

Ideal candidates have LIHTC/Affordable housing exposure, strong Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systems.

Qualifications

• One year of LIHTC/Affordable housing experience required.
• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient in internet software; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and provide leasing information, schedule tours and maintenance requests.
• Assist the Property Manager in learning all aspects of management, including admin and financial duties.
• Assist with resident service requests, rent collection and notices as required.
• Walk the property daily, inspect units, and support HUD/LIHTC compliance paperwork.
