Mercy Housing Management Group in Chicago, IL is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for the South Loop community. This on-site role supports the Property Manager with daily operations, resident services, and leasing processes, ensuring compliance with HUD and Tax Credit requirements while coordinating staff and resident engagement.

We offer competitive hourly pay of $23-$26, dependent on experience, along with comprehensive benefits, PTO, holidays, retirement plan, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of local and federal housing laws is beneficial.
• Experience with real estate property management applications is a plus.
• Understanding HUD and Tax Credit programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident records documentation.
• Collect rent and other income, make deposits, and forward receipts.
• Assist with the leasing process from application to move-in.
• Respond to customer service requests from residents and visitors.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams and resident events.
