Job summary

Wingate seeks an Assistant Property Manager for a 200-unit elderly and disabled affordable housing community in Providence, RI. You will work with the Property Manager and site team to ensure smooth daily operations.

This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with subsidized housing programs, and strong resident service. RealPage OneSite experience is a plus, and Spanish bilingual skills are valued in our diverse community.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily or affordable housing is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Section 8 and Tax Credit communities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of a 200-unit elderly and disabled affordable housing community.
• Support Section 8 and Tax Credit compliance including recertifications, resident files, notices, and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, vendors, and visitors with professionalism.
• Utilize RealPage OneSite for resident records, reporting, leasing, and property management functions.
• Help manage office traffic, phones, resident requests, work orders, collections, and other admin tasks.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented while balancing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
