Job summary

Wingate in Cambridge, MA is seeking an organized Assistant Property Manager to support a multi-site affordable housing portfolio. You'll be based at one primary property while providing coverage to nearby communities, handling recertifications, resident files, and compliance across HUD, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and Section 8 programs.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma/GED and 1–2 years of related experience; RealPage/OneSite experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in affordable housing.
• Knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit, HUD or Section 8 programs preferred.
• Familiarity with recertifications and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete annual and interim recertifications and maintain compliant resident files.
• Prepare resident notices and required notifications with timely follow-up.
• Support day-to-day operations across multiple communities and manage deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and housing agencies.
