Join Our Team as an Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Property Manager to join our team at the Gene B. Glick Company, specifically at our Westhaven Luxury Apartment community.

Overview: The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in ensuring the community's financial health, property maintenance, customer satisfaction, and manages the property in the absence of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Respond promptly to inquiries from residents and prospects via phone and email.
  2. Follow up with prospective residents to schedule tours and secure leases.
  3. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, certifications, and renewals.
  4. Greet and tour prospective residents, explaining features, terms, and local amenities.
  5. Close sales, obtain deposits, and process applications.
  6. Determine eligibility of prospective residents following regulations and policies.
  7. Assist with marketing surveys and rent collection, including handling delinquencies and court filings.
  8. Investigate and resolve complaints and violations.
  9. Maintain accurate records, reports, and ensure confidentiality of resident data.
  10. Coordinate with other departments and ensure compliance with HUD and Fair Housing regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; property management experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for training and meetings.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
