Job summary

The Caleb Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our nonprofit affordable housing team in Southern New Hampshire. The role involves working out of three site offices in Newport, Henniker, and Antrim, with full-time hours and some travel.

You will handle leasing, waitlist marketing, tenant screening, recertifications, rent collection, and payables/receivables. Ideal candidates will have property management and LIHTC experience, plus familiarity with Yardi software and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Property management experience with housing programs is required.
• LIHTC/Section 8 experience is required.
• Proficiency in Yardi software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle general office tasks and administrative duties.
• Perform leasing activities and marketing waitlist management.
• Screen and recertify tenants and process renewals.
• Manage rent collections and monitor receivables.
• Process payables and maintain accurate records.

The Caleb Group, a nonprofit affordable housing organization, is looking for a strong and capable Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Southern New Hampshire. This position is full time, 40 hours per week, and will involve some travel as the successful candidate will be working out of three site offices (in Newport, Henniker, and Antrim). We are seeking a talented individual who can work in a fast paced and multi-faceted environment. Candidate must possess solid telephone, verbal and written communication skills, ethical professionalism, and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ideal candidate will have strong organizational and multitasking skills, be able to work independently, prioritize effectively and exercise good judgment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to general office tasks, leasing, marketing waitlist management, screening and recertifying tenants, rent collections, and processing payables and receivables. Required qualifications include property management and Section 8/LIHTC experience, along with a familiarity with Yardi software.
