Job summary

A property management company in New York City is seeking a Property Manager to assist in daily operations of various properties including rent-stabilized buildings and condos. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of assigned properties (rent-stabilized, condo, or co-op).
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and superintendents.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with lease administration, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs.
  • Maintain positive tenant relations and high occupancy levels.
  • Support rent collection efforts and follow up on arrears.
  • Assist in preparing and managing property budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with NYC housing regulations (HPD requirements, DOB violations).
  • Assist in preparing documentation for housing court cases and legal proceedings.
  • Track and follow up on violations, inspections, and permits.
  • Maintain organized and accurate property records.
