Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Property Manager to join our team at our 206-unit Country View apartment community.

The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager in ensuring the community generates satisfactory cash flow, maintains property standards, assures customer satisfaction, and manages the property in the absence of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly answer telephone and email inquiries from residents and prospective residents.
  • Follow up on emails from prospective residents to schedule community tours.
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, certifications, and renewals.
  • Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, demonstrate apartment features and amenities, explain occupancy terms, and provide local area information.
  • Close sales by obtaining deposits and applications.
  • Follow up with prospects to secure leases.
  • Determine and certify applicant eligibility following regulations and procedures.
  • Assist with marketing surveys.
  • Collect rent, assist with delinquencies, and handle court filings.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints, disturbances, and violations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident data.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Conduct all activities in compliance with HUD and Fair Housing regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Property management experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Valid driver's license in residence state.
  • Ability to work varied schedules including weekends.
  • Willingness to travel for training and meetings.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
