In your role at CubeSmart Self Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain your property, involving customer service and property maintenance skills.

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for:

Customer Service:
  • Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing suitable solutions while delivering exceptional service.
  • Interacting face-to-face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
  • Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
  • Walking the property to perform lock checks and showing units to customers.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to rent storage spaces, sell merchandise, manage leasing, accept payments via POS, complete bank deposits, and follow up on late payments.
Property Maintenance:
  • Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning units and common areas, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), and light maintenance activities like mopping, sweeping, changing bulbs, and cleaning units.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe facility, including restrooms, landscaping, parking, paving, fencing, walls, and doors, to meet company standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional requirements:

  • Ability to work Saturdays.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder frequently.

The hourly rate is $17.91 - $19.41, depending on experience.

*Some locations may require Sunday hours
