Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to join the team at Olivewood Apartments. The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of their assigned residential property. Your goals include maintaining high occupancy rates, maximizing profitability, and ensuring high satisfaction levels for both property owners and tenants. Responsibilities
  1. Assist in advertising vacant properties.
  2. Show properties to prospective tenants and inform them of available amenities.
  3. Qualify prospective tenants through background checks and references.
  4. Accept rental payments and provide receipts.
  5. Respond to tenant inquiries promptly.
  6. Negotiate leasing terms and close deals.
  7. Inspect properties regularly and coordinate necessary maintenance or repairs.
  8. Provide administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
  9. Follow all Equal Housing Opportunity guidelines, local laws, and company policies.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience in property management.
  2. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  3. Property management or real estate license preferred.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
  5. Experience with property management software preferred.
