Job description

WinnCompanies is searching for a Floating Assistant Property Manager to join our team at University Gardens, a 113-unit affordable housing community located in Los Angeles, CA.

The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in managing all aspects of this 113-unit property, including leasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, service requests, and customer service.

The position is offering a pay range of $23.82 to $29.92 hourly, depending on experience. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.


Responsibilities
  • Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required.
  • Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications and recertifications, and negotiating lease renewals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations.
  • Under the supervision of the Property Manager, assist in all facets of physical and financial management as needed and assigned.
  • Act as Property Manager in the absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
  • Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, resident correspondence, and recertification notices.
  • Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience in property management.
  • Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software.

$23.82 - $29.92 an hour

Salary will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
