Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years commercial drywall and metal stud framing construction experience.
• Superintendent or foreman management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial blueprints, management software and estimating.
• Out-of-town travel as required.

• Provides support with daily production activities across multiple commercial projects.
• Assists the Project Manager to align labor, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor job progress and proactively address production delays.
• Conduct regular job site visits and field audits.
• Assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and corrective coaching.
• Manage labor budgets for projects.
• Monitor productivity, hours, and production rates.
• Identify cost risks early and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with leadership to maintain profitability.
• Review blueprints, schedule, specifications, and scope requirements.
• Enforce company and OSHA safety standards.

Role Summary

The Assistant Project Manager assists with field production operations for the Commercial Walls & Ceilings team, ensuring multiple commercial projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards.
