Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers and Construction Managers with daily tasks and coordinated efforts across preconstruction and field activities.

The role emphasizes maintaining schedules, safety compliance, and strong subcontractor relationships, with a focus on learning, leadership development, and long-term growth within a Nationally ranked steel erector company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is required.
• Familiarity with reading drawings, specs, and safety protocols is expected.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and CMs with daily project tasks and communication to ensure schedule, cost, and quality expectations are met.
• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, insurance certificates, and compliance; develop and maintain project schedules (including 3-week lookaheads).
• Support in field coordination, site visits, safety audits, and documentation control across preconstruction and field activities.
• Organize project files, gather certifications, test reports, and maintain drawings, submittals, and revisions.
