Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support PMs and CMs in daily project tasks, coordination, and communication. This role strengthens subcontractor relationships and helps maintain schedule, cost, and quality across projects.

The APM fosters collaboration between field and office teams, with emphasis on leadership development and long-term growth within the organization. Office locations include Charlotte, NC and Des Moines, IA.

Qualifications

• Assist PMs and CMs with daily project tasks and communication.
• Promote strong subcontractor/vendor relationships and maintain schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
• Support leadership development and long-term growth in field and office settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project administration and coordination tasks.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (including 3-week lookaheads).
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
