Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee multiple structural steel fabrication and erection projects across our Sanger, TX and additional U.S. sites.

You will lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance, coordinating with engineers, detailers, and field crews to deliver projects on time and within budget. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with steel fabrication/erection.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read structural and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for each assigned project.
• Coordinate with steel detailers, erection subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Balance fabrication shop capacity, erection crews, cranes, and resources across multiple projects.
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and direct junior Project Managers on planning, scheduling, and field coordination.
