Job summary

Clēnera, a leading solar and energy storage developer and independent power producer based in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support 2-4 projects. You will coordinate design, procurement, construction, and financial tracking, and act as a key extension of the Project Manager to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in large-scale construction project management or engineering.
• Experience in solar and/or energy storage construction preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction support and review design deliverables to align with owner objectives and contracts.
• Monitor procurement schedules and track spare parts and long-lead items; escalate risks.
• Monitor construction progress and provide mitigation recommendations to the Project Manager.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and EPC deliverables.
• Evaluate change orders and ensure adherence to change control processes.
• Manage budgets, cost codes, pay applications, and supplier payments.
• Support safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Coordinate communication between Project Manager, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead closeout activities including punch lists and turnover documentation.
