First Onsite, a national leader in restoration and construction, seeks an Assistant Project Manager in Richmond, VA. You will work with leadership to evaluate, develop, and execute scopes of work, monitor budgets, schedules, and quality, and serve as a bridge among clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams.

This role requires 2+ years in restoration/construction, a high school diploma (degree preferred), a valid driver's license, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in project settings or teams.
• 2+ years in restoration/construction with water, fire, mold, or rebuild knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with leadership to understand, evaluate, develop, and execute the scope of work.
• Solicit, receive, and approve proposals from subcontractors to perform work within budget.
• Prepare project schedules including crew and subcontractor timelines.
• Support and manage job crews on site.
• Fill in as needed with additional responsibilities, including manual tasks.
• Create and maintain job paperwork and inventories.
• Maintain daily logs of conditions, activities, and communications.
• Prepare reports and project documentation.
• Monitor budgets, gross profit margins, and schedules; flag risks.
• Manage change orders receipt and approval.
• Execute daily site safety meetings and arrange permits as needed.
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets, equipment records, moisture maps, and material sheets.
• Review opportunities for change orders within defined scopes.
• Assist with creating project schedules and issuing work orders to subcontractors.
• Perform billing reviews for data accuracy.
• Available 24/7.
