Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry seeks an Assistant Project Manager for our Pre-Construction Services group to support renewable energy and power generation projects from feasibility through construction readiness. The role is based in Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix, AZ with periodic site travel.

You will collaborate with project managers, developers, owners, utilities, and engineers to coordinate schedules, budgets, risks, and development activities, helping transition projects from development into

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in project management, construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure.
Interest in renewable energy, power generation, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel periodically to project sites and client locations.

Responsibilities

Support pre-construction planning and execution for renewable energy and power projects.
Assist with project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, scopes of work, and development plans.
Coordinate with developers, owners, utilities, engineers, EPC contractors, and other stakeholders.
Track action items, deliverables, decisions, risks, and milestones.
Assist with site due diligence, permitting, interconnection, and development activities.
