Job summary

The LiRo Group in New York, NY seeks an Assistant Project Manager for a Midtown Public Agency Project. You will support the Project Manager in developing design and construction for capital improvement projects, coordinating with teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in construction planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and document reading; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in construction planning, cost estimating, project scheduling, resource management, and reading/interpretation of construction documents.
• Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document reviews, forecast and cost scheduling, change order review and payments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Managers with project plans and schedules.
• Assist with monitoring building construction, repairs, and rehabilitation from planning to completion to ensure proposals meet client needs and stay within cost.
• Coordinate construction efforts on multiple projects.
• Oversee/inspect contractor work, provide progress reports, manage submittals, requisitions and change orders.
