Job summary

The LiRo Group seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Eastern Massachusetts MSBA, K-12 School project sites. The role supports ongoing campus projects from design through construction and assists the Sr.

Project Manager with budgets, schedules, and coordination. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 2–4 years of experience and knowledge in RFI tracking, contract review, and change orders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related program.
  • 2-4 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments.

Responsibilities

  • Support on-going different maintenance projects throughout the campus that are in the design phase and moving to construction.
  • Support the LiRo-Hill Sr. Project Manager with budget, schedule, planning and coordination of projects.
  • Support Sr. Project Manager in executing of projects throughout the URI campus.
  • Monitoring of building construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects from planning stages through completion of construction to assure that proposals meet client needs and are within cost limitations.
  • Assist with coordination of construction efforts on multiple projects.
  • Oversee/Inspect the work of contractors, provide progress reports, contract correspondences, manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process.

  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
  • Compensation: Minimum: $100,000 Maximum: $110,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location.
  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
