Job summary

ESPO Corporation seeks an Assistant Project Manager General for a 12-month contract in Glen Allen, VA. The candidate will assist project managers on a variety of projects, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and maintain document control and project data to ensure goals are met on time and within budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong communication, analytical, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related degree from accredited program.
• Internship experience does not count toward years of experience.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding work environment; overtime on short notice may be required.
• High proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Owners, Contractors, Project Managers, Engineers and Designers.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers on projects of varying complexity; manage smaller projects.
• Coordinate and liaison with client, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain document control and manage databases; track project activities and communications.
