Zusammenfassung

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support high-end commercial interiors and tenant improvement projects in Austin, TX. You will work from preconstruction through close-out alongside Project Managers and field teams, supporting RFI/submittals, change orders, and coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications include 2+ years in commercial construction, strong reading of plans, and proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam. Travel to job sites in the Austin area is required.

Qualifikationen

• Two or more years of commercial construction experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role.
• Commercial interiors and tenant improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling and budget tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Procore and Bluebeam.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Support Project Managers on TI projects from preconstruction through close-out.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, bid leveling, scopes of work, and subcontract agreements.
• Maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones and deadlines.
• Track budgets, cost reports, and pay applications.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and management.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and owners.
• Manage project documentation, drawings, logs, and records in PM software.
• Support permitting, inspections, punch lists, and close-out documentation.
• Monitor quality control and safety on active job sites.
