Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Process Operations team in Ohio. The role supports Project Managers across multi-discipline engineering, design and architectural teams on diverse client projects from scope development through design and execution.

Locations include Toledo, Lima, and Midland. A Bachelor degree and 3 years of related experience are required; CAPM certification is encouraged. Competitive benefits and a path to larger responsibilities are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business, Technology, Project Management or related field.
3 years related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
CAPM Certification is encouraged.
Good facilitator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experienced with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Assist relevant managers with day to day project tasks, staffing, work plans, schedules, budgets, etc.
Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, and control procedures.
Under supervision of manager, manages small scope projects.
Assist in evaluating consultants and outsourcing partners for utilization on multi-functional projections.
Assist in securing P.O. and invoicing for consultants and outsourcing partners.
May act as liaison between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
Administer project cost estimating, documents controls, and weekly/monthly performance reports.
