Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Process Operations team. You’ll support Project Managers in leading multi-discipline engineering, design and architectural efforts from scope through design packages and execution.

Locations available include Toledo, Lima, and Midland. The role emphasizes coordination, budgeting, and schedule management with travel as needed. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Business, Technology, Project Management or related field.
• 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• CAPM Certification is encouraged.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist relevant managers with day-to-day project tasks, staffing, work plans, schedules, budgets, etc.
• Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, and control procedures.
• Under supervision of manager, manages small scope projects.
• Assist in evaluating consultants and outsourcing partners for utilization on multi-functional projections.
• Assist in securing P.O. and invoicing for consultants and outsourcing partners.
• May liaise between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
• Follow procedures for cost estimating, documentation, and reports.
• Communicate project requirements to team members.
• May train other Assistant Project Managers or project team members.
• Coordinate meetings and document control with teams, contractors, regulatory agencies and others.
