Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Process Operations team to support multi-discipline engineering and design projects from scope development through execution. Locations available include Toledo, Lima (OH), and Midland (MI).

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3 years of experience, and good communication skills. CAPM is encouraged, with a salary range of $70,000–$80,000 per year and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Project Management or related field.
• 3 years related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• CAPM Certification is encouraged.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist relevant managers with day-to-day project tasks, staffing, work plans, schedules, budgets.
• Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, and control procedures.
• Under supervision of manager, manages small scope projects.
• Assist in evaluating consultants and outsourcing partners for utilization on multi-functional projects.
• Assist in securing P.O. and invoicing for consultants and outsourcing partners.
• May act as liaison between project teams, consultants and partners.
• Follow procedures for cost estimating, docs control, and weekly/monthly reports.
• Attend project meetings and prepare minutes for distribution.
• Occasional travel for project coordination or training.
