Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Municipal Operations & Utilities Leadership in Douglas, GA. You will act as second-in-command of a large municipal O&M team, overseeing wastewater, water, and public works services to ensure safety, efficiency and client satisfaction.

The role requires a licensed wastewater professional or equivalent, with 5+ years of supervisory experience leading 50+ staff.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and wastewater certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory and operational experience in municipal wastewater operations.
Experience managing, leading, or scheduling large teams of 50+ employees.
Demonstrated experience leading teams in utility, municipal, public works, or wastewater environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Serve as the operational leader and trusted partner to the Project Manager.
Lead and support a diverse workforce responsible for utility operations, maintenance, and public works services.
Manage daily activities of wastewater treatment facilities and associated utility operations.
Develop and implement operational improvements that enhance service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple departments.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
