Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Conyers, GA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project and Senior Project Managers with design phase, pre-construction and construction phase tasks. You will help manage scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and the bid process while coordinating with the design team.

The role requires the ability to work independently, read drawings, monitor progress, and maintain project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts and bid processes.
• Review drawings for accuracy and assemble details for bids.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors to obtain bid information.
• Support monthly WIP reporting and budget adherence.
• Monitor progress, coordinate tasks, and surface issues for resolution.
• Manage project costs by tracking expenditures and contracts.
• Prepare status reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends.
• Travel to job sites as needed to review progress and resolve challenges.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and update construction systems.
• Answer customer inquiries and support the Project Manager as needed.
