Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. in Conyers, GA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Managers through design, pre-construction and construction, handling scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and bid preparation.

You’ll work independently, prepare reports, and maintain project documentation while coordinating with the design team and subcontractors. Travel to job sites as needed, ensure schedule adherence, assist with cost control, and contribute to a safe, efficient project

Qualifications

• BA/Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and interpret plans.
• Working knowledge of project budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with design, pre-construction and construction phase tasks including scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and bid preparation.
• Develop relationships with sub-contractors and coordinate information for bids.
• Support monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reports and help monitor budget and timelines.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate with internal teams.
