Polk Mechanical Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project documentation, scheduling, and coordination on commercial and industrial builds. You will work with Project Managers to organize assets, documents, and communications across active projects.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, maintain safety standards, and contribute to on-site field activities to ensure timely project delivery and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management/Science or Mechanical oriented studies.
• 1–3 years of work experience within Commercial Construction or Mechanical Industries.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation using Procore and internal drives (RFIs, submittals, invoicing).
• Serve as central point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.
• Assist with material matrices, delivery schedules, and equipment buyout processes.
• Support field activities with quality control, inspections, and safety practices.
• Maintain accurate project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders.
