Job summary

AIREKO Companies seeks an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to deliver on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Construction/Mechanical Engineering degree with at least three years of PM experience, and are fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Construction/Mech Eng required.
• Minimum of three years of construction project management experience.
• Experience with industrial utility systems (chillers, AHUs, BAS, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing, piping).
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Fully bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate labor and subcontractors to maintain schedules.
• Support procurement, scheduling, and project logistics.
• Monitor progress and maintain daily activity reports.
• Conduct site safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, local agencies, and utilities.
• Review and update drawings and documentation.
• Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from start to finish

• Conduct site safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Coordinate with clients, local agencies, and utility companies
• Review and update project drawings and documentation
• Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service
• Perform additional project-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of three (3) years of construction project management experience
• Experience with industrial utility systems, including chillers, AHUs, BAS systems, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing, and piping installations
• Strong knowledge of construction operations, equipment, and blueprint reading
• Proven organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) required
