Job summary

Coastal Pools is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support successful planning, coordination, documentation, and completion of pool construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. You will work with Project Managers, Production, field leadership, vendors, and customers to ensure accurate information, coordinated materials, current schedules, and timely issue resolution.

This developmental role prepares you to grow into greater project ownership, with increasing independence

Qualifications

• Strong organization, attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Good problem-solving and proactive question-asking.
• Ability to communicate with customers, field staff, subs, vendors, and leadership.
• Comfortable in office and active construction-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with projects from preconstruction through completion and close-out.
• Maintain current project schedules, milestones, task lists, and status information.
• Coordinate activities with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and approvals are in place before work.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and delays and escalate early.
• Participate in project and production meetings and follow through on actions.
• Assist with project handoffs from Sales into Production and review files for completeness.
• Coordinate preconstruction meetings, site information, plans, permits, and materials.
• Track and manage documents, change orders, and project notes.
• Visit project sites to understand progress and verify status.
