Chaparral is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team on large scale commercial and industrial projects. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and strong client relationships to ensure projects finish on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has experience in project management and a solid understanding of mechanical systems and codes, with excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams and with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or related field, especially insulation/HVAC/plumbing industries.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with leadership ability to foster collaboration.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project sales efforts and develop client relationships to understand needs.
• Use MIKE to estimate project costs including labor, materials, and time.
• Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of assigned projects.
• Aid in improving division operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor productivity and address labor-related issues; document performance.
• Enforce Quality and Safety programs to ensure compliance and safety.
• Drive project performance to meet budgets and schedules.
• Perform other tasks as directed to support goals.
