Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to support the Project Manager across multiple projects in a development and execution phase. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction activities, while contributing to schedule development and monthly reviews.

The role requires 2+ years of construction project experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning and management elements like scheduling, cost control and procurement

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction activities through development and execution phases
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with cross-functional teams
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits
• Collaborate with Safety personnel on safety plans, incident reporting and investigations
• Assist PM with monthly project reviews and financial closeouts
• Support RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system
• Contribute to quality improvements for technical, commercial and administrative deliverables
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts
• Monitor design, procurement and construction progress
• Support project close-out and warranty administration
• Perform post-construction cost review and lessons learned
• Act as PM when qualified and needed
• Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
