Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on multiple projects. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities through development and execution phases, with travel up to 50% as project needs require.

The role involves assisting with schedules, cost control, safety plans, and monthly project reviews, while enabling a path to PM responsibilities as allowed by qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of construction project experience, including planning, estimating, bidding, purchasing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities.
• Assists PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering and procurement teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Supports procurement with subcontractor and vendor scopes and schedule exhibits.
• Works with Safety on project safety plans and incident reporting.
• Prepares monthly project review reports and assists with project closeouts.
• Performs financial reviews and supports project cost control.
• Assists with RFI submittals and improves quality of deliverables.
