Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG), a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager II to assist the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction during development and execution.

You may support multiple projects concurrently and rotate with various support groups as needed. You will help develop schedules, participate in value engineering, coordinate with procurement and safety teams, and prepare monthly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
• 2+ years of construction project experience including engineering, estimating, bidding, purchase orders, subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, document control

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution of the project
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, controls, procurement and construction management
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Liaises with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes and schedules
• Works with safety personnel on safety plans, incident reporting and investigations
• Assists PM with monthly project reviews and reports for management
• Supports project by conducting financial reviews and closeouts
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system
• Provides feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial and admin deliverables
• Assists in procurement of POs and subcontract packages
• Monitors design, procurement, and construction progress
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration
• Performs post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned
• Performs other duties as assigned by PM/Operations Director
• Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures
