Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG), a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager II to support the PM on multiple projects. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.

Role involves assisting in schedule development, participating in value engineering, and managing RFIs. Travel up to 50% as project needs require; prior EPC/design-build experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project experience, including planning and management aspects such as scheduling, cost control, and procurement.
• Experience in EPC/design-build and the Power Delivery industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing the initial project schedule with input from engineering and procurement.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develops subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Works with Safety personnel on project safety plans and incident investigations.
• Assists PM with monthly project reviews and financial closeouts.
• Supports RFI submittals using the company document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assists in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Monitors progress of design, procurement, and construction and supports close-out and warranty activities.
