Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support project managers in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and safety compliance on concrete frame and formwork projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or construction management, 1–2 years of related experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and MS Office proficiency; travel may be required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and with customers/vendors.
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and organize information about plan layouts, material deliveries and site productivity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Ability to travel and work on projects outside of the office for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Perform jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety and quality.
• Assist in managing project productivity, costs, quality and safety per company policies.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to procure projects, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.
• Create and coordinate material and equipment schedules; promote efficient use.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor contracts and related processes.
• Perform special projects and other duties as needed.

Education

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related degree
