Job summary

Continental Contractors, Inc. in Maryland is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers and field teams on hotel renovation projects. You will review bid documents, coordinate schedules, track materials, and help manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• PM/construction training or related coursework preferred.
• Experience with planning/estimating software (PlanSwift/Bluebeam) preferred.
• Procore experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Upload and review bid documents
• Provide quantity take-offs and solicit subcontractor and vendor bids to prepare preliminary project budget
• Coordinate with Project Team (Project Manager, Project Accountant and Superintendent) to determine schedule milestones, track materials, and ensure subcontractors are accurately scheduled
• Maintain and contribute to various logs (Submittal, RFI, and Change Order)
• Evaluate and approve invoices related to material purchases
• Participate in project team calls with clients, subcontractors and vendors
