Clark Bros, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil construction projects in California.

You will help manage schedules, costs, procurement, subcontractor coordination, contract administration, and client relations while ensuring safety and compliance with contract requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent practical construction experience may be considered
• 7+ years of progressive experience in construction, preferably heavy civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost controls, procurement, and contract documentation

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects from startup through final closeout
• Monitor progress against schedules and budgets; identify delays or cost overruns and develop corrective actions
• Prepare monthly cost forecasts and project financial reports; manage procurement and subcontract administration
• Coordinate with procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Maintain effective communication with client, design engineers, and project personnel
• Lead project meetings and maintain project documentation and change orders
