Job summary

Manhattan Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help manage the overall project direction, ownership/subcontractor relationships, and on-site staff. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and organizational skills to deliver projects safely and on budget.

You will participate in pre-construction activities, bid processes, and project close-out tasks, working across teams to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification and First Aid & CPR Training required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years of industry experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall project direction, financial outcomes, and owner/subcontractor relationships.
• Mentor on-site staff and demonstrate leadership.
• Coordinate project schedule inputs and two-week look-aheads.
• Prepare and review subcontracts, purchase orders, and cost updates.
• Support project execution plans and close-out documentation.
