Job summary

The Assistant Project Manager at Manhattan Construction Company will help manage the overall project direction, financial outcomes, and administer owner/subcontractor relationships on assigned projects. You will mentor on-site staff, requiring strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities include safety policy implementation, coordination with subcontractors, bid/precon meetings, schedule input, and close-out documentation, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent; related experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience.
• Experience in structure/enclosure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements Operation Zero and Manhattan safety policies.
• Manages owner and subcontractor relationships on assigned projects.
• Assists in bid day, pre-con meetings, and project scheduling.
• Reviews subcontracts and purchase orders; supports project close-out.
• Mentors on-site staff and coordinates with the superintendent.
