Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Chicago to support commercial construction projects, working closely with field operations and office teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture and 3–5 years’ experience, with proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and MS Project.

You will read drawings, assist with budgeting and change orders, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment—on-site and engaged with field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience supporting project management teams on ground-up or large-scale interior projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Project.
• Knowledge of safety standards and construction regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
