Job summary

Hooper-Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a Project Coordinator to assist planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the preparations and executions of projects while meeting cost, quality, equipment utilization and safety objectives.

You will help prepare estimates, procure materials, issue subcontractors, attend pre-bid and progress meetings, coordinate manpower and equipment, monitor budgets and safety standards, and assist with project closeout and archival filing.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years technical education in engineering field, construction management, or apprenticeship completion.
• Analytical, problem solving, and strong verbal/written communication.
• Related construction industry experience or internships is preferred.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project estimates and procurement of materials.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and supply needs with field crews.
• Help set project objectives, budgets, timelines, and safety standards.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and safeguard tools.
• Assist in change orders, subcontracting, billing, and project closeout.
• Support archiving of plans and communications for permanent records.
• Support expedited CAD/BIM work on projects.
• Perform additional tasks as needed by management.
