Job summary

Hooper-Corporation, a Wisconsin-based electric power and mechanical contractor, seeks a Project/Field Support role to assist planning, organizing, and directing project preparations and executions. This position supports cost, quality, and safety objectives across commercial and residential projects.

Candidates should have two years of technical education in engineering or construction management, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Two years technical education in engineering field, construction management, or completion of apprenticeship is required.
• Analytical and problem solving, strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project management tasks including preparing estimates, procuring materials, issuing subcontracts, attending progress meetings.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and supply needs; liaise with union hiring hall as needed.
• Help establish project objectives, costs, timelines, budgets, and safety standards; monitor adherence via site visits and reports.
• Monitor maintenance of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Manage administrative aspects of contracts with project managers and fleet operations.
• Assist in releasing completed projects to client satisfaction and closeout items.
• Archive project information and support CAD/BIM work as needed.
• Perform other assignments as requested by management.
