Job summary

Hooper, a Wisconsin-based electric power and mechanical contractor, is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to drive new business opportunities and oversee project planning, execution, and safety.

You will coordinate with architects and engineers, prepare estimates and budgets, manage change orders, and lead field crews to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or construction management or completion of apprenticeship.
• 3–5 years of experience in related construction projects.
• Analytical, problem solving, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively pursues and acquires new business through strong client relationships.
• Prepares project estimates, budgets, schedules, and assists in negotiations.
• Coordinates manpower, equipment, tools, and supply needs to meet objectives.
• Monitors contracts, change orders, billing, and expenses with finance staff.
• Keeps customers informed of progress and resolves design/cost issues with stakeholders.
