FCL Builders, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Houston, TX to partner with experienced leaders and deliver complex commercial/industrial projects across the country. You will assist the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, coordinate day‑to‑day construction operations, and support scheduling, permitting, and document management.

The role emphasizes collaboration, growth into Project Manager roles, and a culture of mentorship and professional development within an ESOP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• OSHA 30 and SWPPP training (or in progress).
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PM through the project lifecycle from pre-con to closeout.
• Support scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and permitting.
• Review plans, specs, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and weekly project updates.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and payments.
• Maintain project documentation using CM software.
