FCL Builders in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to partner with leaders and manage complex commercial and industrial projects nationwide.

You will assist the Project Manager through the full lifecycle, coordinate scheduling and subcontractors, review plans, and help with budgets and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• OSHA 30 and SWPPP training (or in progress).
• 4+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-con to closeout.
• Help manage day-to-day construction operations on commercial and industrial projects.
• Support scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and permitting.
• Review plans, specs, and shop drawings for compliance and constructability.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and weekly project updates.
• Ensure timely ordering, tracking, and delivery of materials.
