Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) seeks an Assistant Project Manager I (APM I) to assist the Project Manager on multiple energy infrastructure projects. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities through development and execution phases, while supporting rotations with operational groups.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in construction project management, with EPC/design-build exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, or Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of construction project experience across planning, estimating, bidding, scheduling, cost control, and document control.
• Preferred EPC/design-build experience in Power Delivery (substation, transmission & distribution).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assist PM in developing the initial project schedule with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Collaborate with Safety personnel on safety plan development and incident investigations.
• Prepare monthly project review reports for PM and Senior Management.
• Support financial reviews and project closeouts on a monthly basis.
• Assist with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts; monitor project progress.
• Facilitate project close-out and warranty administration; participate in lessons learned.
• Act as PM when needed and within qualified scope; adhere to internal standards and procedures.
