Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Houston to support the Project Management team from budgeting through closeout. You’ll assist in budgeting, bidding, cost control and client relations while coordinating with subs, superintendents and project managers to maintain the project schedule.

The role emphasizes ownership of RFIs, submittals and project documentation, with site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CM, Arch or Eng or equivalent industry experience.
• 2-5 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Background in construction trades and technical knowledge of construction methods a plus.
• Completion of basic budget training.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, bidding and cost control processes.
• Coordinate with project team, client relations and closeout activities.
• Manage RFI and submittal processes.
• Monitor project costs and maintain project documentation.
• Support site visits and progress tracking.
