Job summary

Clune Construction Company in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team in planning, coordination and completion of commercial interior, healthcare and mission-critical projects.

You will assist in budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout, with site visits, RFI and submittal ownership, and ensuring safety and quality through our established systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Background in construction trades is a plus.
• Completion of basic budget training.
• Strong computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Role model professionally for Interns, Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, and new APMs.
• Ownership of the RFI process.
• Ownership of the submittal process.
• Active participation in creating accurate and timely budgets and bids.
• Develop knowledge of project cost controls.
• Ownership of project documentation.
• Lead and document OAC meetings and participate in project meetings.
